Scholar Program
Scholar Program is an important component of Fellowship Program at Critical Care Western (CCW). In keeping with the CanMEDS framework, Scholar Program at CCW ensures that fellows have protected time for learning and pursuing academic interests. This is accomplished through having 1 out of 4 weeks during MSICU/CCTC blocks designated as academic week.
Time during academic weeks is to be used for the following purposes:
- Studying
- Preparation for licensing exams
- Reading around critical care topics
- Preparation of teaching rounds
- Completion of a Scholar Project
